Tug Training Enhancement

Our Tug Training courses are provided in partnership with Tug Training & Consultancy whose trainers are highly experienced experts in tugs and towage.

To enhance the training that candidates have received on one of our training courses we are able to offer packages of training on board the clients/candidates tugs during actual operations.

This means that one of Tug Training and Consultancy’s trainers will accompany the candidates whilst they carry out their towage duties to:

• Provide coaching throughout manoeuvres
• Debrief manoeuvres and provide suggestions for improvements
• Involve pilots and other tug masters in the debriefing sessions to enhance co-operation

We believe this is particularly suitable for candidates that are putting onto practice new techniques they have learnt on one of the theory/simulator based courses and will serve to give them more confidence whilst they build their familiarity with the manoeuvres
