Our Tug Training courses are provided in partnership with Tug Training & Consultancy whose trainers are highly experienced experts in tugs and towage.
This training program is a virtual -theory only – classroom training. Learn the theory behind tug driving, line forces, thruster forces, thruster settings, ship-ship interaction, tug stability, and everything you want learn about operating any kind of tug, our distance learning theory platform.

Contains the following courses:
- Basic Tug handling
- Harbour Towage
- Escort Towage and advanced Harbour towage
By limiting the number of candidates on a course each candidate will benefit from the maximum hands-on time in the simulator
Course Details
Course Duration: 1 Day
Assessment: Assessment after each module and final exam
Attendance: 100% attendance is required
Certificate: TTC Certificate of theoretical Knowledge (after completion of the practical part graduates receive the official TTC Certificate)
Entry Requirements: There are no formal entry requirements.
