Navigational audits are carried out to verify navigation safety and to ensure effective and consistent application of navigational practices and bridge procedures in accordance with regulatory and industry requirements. This course will provide in-depth understanding of vetting inspections under the OCIMF SIRE programme for oil tankers, complementing it with navigational audits that will further improve on overall vessel condition. Participants will be taken through the details and aspects of navigational audits and safety. The course begins with a comprehensive background on SIRE and OCIMF
