Benefits:
This Course is designed to meet the needs of two main learner groups:
a) Individuals who are new to the Maritime Logistics industries and need to acquire new skills and knowledge to become more employable
b) Those who are currently working in these industries and wish to upgrade their skills and knowledge to advance their career.
Duration:
The course duration is six hundred (600) hours spread over thirty (30) weeks comprising four hundred and fifty (450) hours of classroom / online teaching, assignments, case studies, presentation and one hundred (150) hours of work based learning/internship. The classes will be conducted from Monday to Friday every week from 0800 hours to 1100 hours.

Assessment:
Written assessments comprising subjective questions as well as Quiz and presentations with 60% passing marks
Entry Requirements:
The basic requirement for taking up this course is preferably a bachelor degree in any discipline but a minimum of twelve (12) years of structured education or Advanced Level (A ‘Level) or equivalent standard of education.
A valid English language proficiency certificate with a minimum score of either 1100 EmSAT, 5 IELTS, 500 TOEFL (PBT), 61 TOEFL (IBT), or 173 TOEFL (CBT).

Level-5 Award:
On successful completion of the Course comprising four mandatory modules, one specialist module from a list of twelve specialist units and a work based learning module, a Level-5 Award in Maritime Logistics Management will be issued by The Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy recognised by National Qualification Centre (NQC) U.A.E. certifying that the holder of the certificate has completed forty (40) credits (600 hours) of structured learning in Maritime Logistics Management. The Level-5 Award certificate will also provide details of the topics that are covered.
Accreditation:
The Level-5 Award Program follows the course curriculum of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) U.K and is approved by ICS UK and NQC, UAE.
