Capt. Abdulkareem Al Masabi

Capt. Abdulkareem Al Masabi leads ADNOC Logistics and Services, the largest integrated maritime logistics services provider in the region. By serving ADNOC Group and its external customers, the company ensures the sustainability of the supply chain of Abu Dhabi Hydrocarbon commodities.

Before assuming his current role in April 2018, Capt. Abdulkareem Al Masabi worked at Abu Dhabi Ports for 9 years, where he joined as Senior Operations Manager in 2009 with over 11 years’ experience in the shipping and ports industry gained in marine roles and within fleet operations. He rose through the ranks to his final position as Executive Vice President of the Ports Unit at Abu Dhabi Ports and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Terminals, responsible for Abu Dhabi Ports’ day-to-day operational activities and operational leadership for the ports’ growth.

In 2018, Capt. Al Masabi was awarded the Executive Council Chairman Medal as the best Executive Director in Abu Dhabi Government as part of the Abu Dhabi Government Excellence Awards.

Capt. Al Masabi graduated from South Tyneside College (Marine College), United Kingdom as a Master Mariner. He also holds an Executive Master’s in Business Administration and Management. He serves as the Chairman of the Emirate Shipping Association, an organisation with the objective of positioning the UAE as the premier maritime hub of the region.
